Hilda D. Levy (1908–2001) was a pioneering Abstract Expressionist working in Los Angeles at a time when women artists were largely excluded from the scene. She exhibited widely for two decades, earning critical acclaim and a rare solo show at one of the city's most influential galleries—then withdrew from public life in 1972 and faded from memory. This exhibition brings her work back into view for the first time in fifty-eight years.
