Megan Mulrooney presents Hollywood Walk-ins, a residency and exhibition of live drawings by New York-based artist Drake Carr. From April 5 – May 3, Carr will create portraits in real time, inviting local creatives to sit for him in a studio-like space. The evolving collection will form an archive of both his work and Los Angeles’ cultural scene. Combining society portraiture with fashion illustration, Carr’s portraits capture dynamic interactions, while hair and makeup artists add theatricality to the process.
