Homegrown, curated by Patrick Martinez, brings together works by members of his family, many of whom were practicing artists, including Eliseo Martinez, Eliseo Martinez Jr., Daniel Martinez, Ismael Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Rayvan Martinez, Chris Martinez, and Patrick Martinez. The presentation highlights shared approaches to graphic form, craft, and depictions of the Los Angeles landscape across generations. Concurrently, Left in Ruins features new works by Martinez examining the city’s architecture, signage, and social histories.
