HOUSE OF presents sculptures by Ramekon O’Arwisters that reflect his life as a Black and Queer man in America. Drawing from traditional craft, religious roots, and personal history, he creates textured forms with materials like ceramics, fabric, leather, and zip ties. The work explores identity, intimacy, and resilience. Spanning 2016–2024, the exhibition includes new large-scale tapestries and portraits, emphasizing care, transformation, and the emotional power of material.
