McBride / Dillman presents Hybrid House, Elisa Soliven’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Drawing from memory, natural remnants, and ancient iconography, her ceramic busts and vessels merge biology with mythology. Built from hand-formed coils and fragments, the works evoke relics unearthed from time—armor-like yet vulnerable. Centered on the horseshoe crab, the sculptures suggest a speculative archaeology rooted in touch, tactility, and the handmade.
