I Hear You Better With Noise is a new solo exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Jinseok Choi. Choi’s practice reimagines labor and scarcity as sites of meaning, care, and collectivity via sculpture, installation, performance, video, and community-based projects.

Jinseok Choi

jinseok choi is an interdisciplinary artist, fabricator, and organizer. His practice reimagines labor and scarcity as sites of meaning, care, and collectivity via sculpture, installation, performance, video, and community-based projects. His work has been exhibited at venues including ArtCenter College of Design, Human Resources Los Angeles, and Fellows of Contemporary Art. He has participated in residencies at Bemis Center, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, UCROSS, Treasure Hill Artist Village, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. His grants include support from Fellows of Contemporary Art, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and CERF+. choi holds an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
