I split the ground, so it would not close over me

San Francisco Arts Commission San Francisco · Civic Center
Exhibition on view: May 28, 2026 - Aug 29, 2026

A two-person exhibition at the SFAC Main Gallery in San Francisco's War Memorial Veterans Building pairing Kelley Finley, an interdisciplinary artist whose autoethnographic work spans sculpture, textiles, and performance, with Tricia Rainwater, a Choctaw multimedia artist based in the Bay Area. Delving into personal and communal histories, the artists explore what it means to sustain communities and how resilience is an ongoing process. On view May 28 through August 29, 2026.
