Sea View presents I Watch the Mountains Changing Colour, new paintings by German artist Heidrun Rathgeb. Working in egg tempera on small panels, Rathgeb captures intimate moments from daily life in the Black Forest and travels to Norway. Her luminous, layered works begin as spontaneous sketches drawn from close observation of her surroundings—family, interiors, and shifting light. Influenced by Sienese painters, her practice is rooted in memory, presence, and emotional precision.
