Yifan Jiang: I wish dying could be more like this. 但愿死像这样 presents a series of paintings reflecting on death, memory, and departure through imagined scenes and personal recollections. Drawing from mythology, literature, philosophy, and family history, the works consider loss as an unknowable threshold. Each image stages a quiet passage, treating death as a speculative space shaped by longing, inheritance, and the limits of perception.
