Edmund de Waal: if you came this way

Exhibition on view: Nov 13, 2025 - Dec 20, 2025

if you came this way presents Edmund de Waal’s porcelain vessels arranged in gilded vitrines alongside materials like gold, marble, and alabaster. The installations function as archives of memory and language, evoking reliquaries and devotional imagery. Titles and inscribed tiles reference poets and explorers, exploring homecoming, exile, and displacement. Large groupings form poetic, musical topographies, inviting contemplation and reflection.
