"Imagining New Futures" brings together paintings by Haya Zaidi, Shahpari Rahmani, Alemeh Bagherian and Inka Essenhigh, four artists who rework inherited stories into visions of what might come next. Zaidi reworks Indo-Persian miniature painting, Bagherian draws on the Persian epic the "Shahnameh", Rahmani builds textured fields between abstraction and figuration, and Essenhigh paints dreamlike enamel worlds.
