Bortolami Gallery presents Impersonal Unity Tools, Frieda Toranzo Jaeger’s first solo exhibition at the gallery. Featuring ten new paintings, the exhibition urges collective action through layered compositions of tools and unfolding crises. Her modular works, adorned with Mexican embroidery and oil imagery, challenge tradition while revealing new possibilities. A central crimson heart, entangled in wires and cogs, serves as a metaphor for today’s stalled political machinery and impending global upheaval.
