Bringing together Myong Hi Kim, Po Kim, Tchah Sup Kim, Woong Kim, Il Lee, and Choong Sup Lim, this exhibition explores the experiences of Korean artists in New York beginning in the 1970s. Across painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation, the artists merge Korean traditions with Western modernism, transforming experiences of migration into explorations of identity, memory, spirituality, material, and belonging.
