In the Commons explores shared space and collective responsibility as a way to understand brownness鈥攏ot as a fixed identity but as a shifting, relational field. The exhibition gathers artists who engage with multiplicity, contradiction, and shared experience, proposing brownness as an ongoing process shaped by community, care, and imagination. Rather than define identity, the works inhabit a space of mutual becoming and political possibility.
