Quinci Baker: In the Cut at A.I.R. Gallery draws from “desire paths” to explore hidden or underrecognized experiences. Through sculptures, drawings, and mixed-media works made from beads, textiles, synthetic hair, and found objects, Baker channels memory, survival, and ancestral connection. Her immersive installation invites viewers to navigate a space shaped by intuition, resistance, and communal lineage, asking them to reflect on their position within personal and collective histories.
