Infinite Horizons brings together luminous works by Heather Hutchison and Ruth Pastine, united by a shared preoccupation with the spiritual and sensory experience of time, space, and light. Hutchison's plywood and Plexiglas constructions trap ambient light, transfigured by its constant flux. Pastine builds seamless bands of color through accumulated layers of oil, their materiality paradoxically dissolving the more paint she adds. Together, the works open onto boundless perceptual horizons.
