’ve Got To Tell You Something Now by Antunes is a portrait of resistance and memory, comprising a film, object, and artist book. Over 365 days, Antunes hiked a mountain during the Covid-19 lockdown, stitching daily reflections onto fabric. The resulting 90-foot scroll and video document this physical and emotional journey. The work invites viewers into a contemplative space where movement, stillness, and memory intersect through repetition, grief, and eventual acceptance.
