Gama 1213-B is an installation by Jacqueline Kiyomi Gork that examines intergenerational memory, silence, and historical confinement through sound and material. Drawing on archival research and personal speculation, the work connects the caves of Okinawa and the Tule Lake incarceration camp in California. Custom sound systems and acoustically active materials create a sensory environment that addresses inherited trauma and what remains unspoken across generations.
