This exhibition pairs works by Jean Dubuffet and John Fahey, artists who moved between visual art and music. Dubuffet, founder of Art Brut, created paintings and experimental compositions shaped by improvisation and anti-academic methods. Fahey, a key figure in American primitive guitar, also made drawings and paintings that parallel his musical phrasing. Together, their practices reveal shared approaches to rhythm, gesture, and cross-disciplinary experimentation.
