This exhibition brings together video works by Joan Jonas and paintings by Silke Otto-Knapp, highlighting the artists’ shared attention to landscape and the body in performance. Jonas's videos span 1968 to 1989, reflecting her longstanding interest in performance, memory, and myth. Otto-Knapp's watercolors, collages, and screen painting studies render choreographed movement as something both precise and ephemeral. Her studies for multi-panel screen paintings evoke both forest and stage set. The exhibition proposes an encounter between two practices that illuminate each other across time and medium.
