Nicelle Beauchene Gallery presents Friends, Jonathan Baldock’s fourth solo exhibition with the gallery. Inspired by Bette Midler’s 1973 performance at the NYC gay liberation parade, the show honors friendship as a vital force of support and identity, particularly within queer communities. Featuring ceramics, textiles, and soft sculptures staged as characters in dialogue, the exhibition reflects on chosen family, childhood bonds, cultural references, and the power of connection in uncertain times.
