Chris Sharp Gallery presents a two-person exhibition with Jovencio de la Paz and Kanitha Tith. De la Paz, Singaporean-born and Eugene-based, returns with new large-scale monochrome weavings made on a digital jacquard loom that disrupt traditional techniques. Tith, a Cambodian artist in Phnom Penh, makes her US gallery debut with hanging steel sculptures crafted by coiling wire around brass rods into airy, open structures. Both artists bring rigor, delicacy, and inventive approaches to form.
