Layers of Invisibility presents works by first-generation Korean American artists Kakyoung Lee and Young Min Moon, who confront social marginalization through their art. Lee’s printmaking, animations, and installations capture fleeting moments and overlooked identities, often depicting women and immigrants. Moon’s paintings explore ancestral rituals and historical trauma, addressing cultural tensions and unseen labor. Together, their work examines erasure, resilience, and the persistence of identity.
