SPACE776 presents Layers of Transformative Journeys, the first international solo exhibition of Garo Hakimian, curated by Maria Yoon. Hakimian’s expressive works explore identity, healing, and personal evolution, drawing from his Armenian heritage and life in Montreal. Using spray paint, oil sticks, and charcoal, he creates emotive, ever-evolving pieces that reflect resilience and emotional depth. His motto, “My work is never finished,” speaks to his pursuit of creative freedom.
