Light Catcher, Time Keeper presents Amorelle Jacox’s paintings that examine space, time, and light through the cycles of equinoxes and solstices. Large canvases feature small calendars whose grids echo both the gallery floor and the structure of time, refracting light as metaphor and measure. Triangular forms such as hourglasses, funnels, and body-like shapes intersect with clustered “seeds” of paint, evoking atomic dispersal. Jacox offers a visual language that is material, ephemeral, and radiant.
