Deanna Evans Projects presents Like on the Outside, Liz Ainslie’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Drawing from Gothic painting, Hellenistic frescoes, 1980s design, and plein air observations, Ainslie transforms memory and fantasy into a lexicon of loops, grids, and halos. Her works explore the interplay of interior and exterior, merging natural storms with architectural forms to create visually implausible, immersive spaces.
