Living Document presents Terry Powers’s latest observational paintings made directly from life. Working without photographs, he paints everyday interiors and outdoor scenes through sustained looking, allowing shifting light, weather, and routine to shape each work. Following his move to northern Utah, seasonality enters the process, affecting scale and pace. The paintings carry a quiet intimacy, transforming ordinary objects and sites into records of lived time and attentive presence.
