Looking at Models considers how the idea of the model functions in art, science, and AI. Using photography, ASCII, and text-to-image/video tools, the artists examine how statistical systems draw from human data while overlooking human significance. By returning to the figure, the works question how such systems shape identity and perception within opaque structures of media, technology, and contemporary culture.
