MoMA presents Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa’s Lugar de Consuelo, a multimedia work informed by research into Guatemalan theater and the censorship of Hugo Carrillo’s 1962 play El Corazón del espantapájaros. Prints, drawings, sculptures, costumes, props, and video trace intertwined political and personal histories shaped by the civil war.
