Maxwell Graham presents Magazine Actions, Cosey Fanni Tutti’s first U.S. solo exhibition, on view May 1–June 28, 2025. Created from 1972–1980, these works repurpose Tutti’s appearances in pornographic magazines into framed art, confronting the male gaze and critiquing the art world’s complicity in commodifying the female body. Positioned at the intersection of performance, conceptual art, and feminist critique, this body of work remains provocative and historically vital.
