A bilingual America250 exhibition developed with the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street initiative, using oral histories, archival photographs, and personal narratives from Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood to explore E pluribus unum — how many voices become one nation — and the immigrant communities that continue to shape South Florida.
