Drawn from the personal collection of Carolyn Mazloomi, founder of the Women of Color Quilters Network, this exhibition (May 29-August 8, 2026) presents narrative quilts by twelve Black American artists, including Michael A. Cummings, Sharon Kerry-Harlan, and Ed Johnetta Miller. Assembled over four decades, the works function as fine art, historical archive, and cultural testimony, asserting Black quiltmaking's central place in the American art canon.
