Material Light presents holographic works by Santa Fe-based artist August Muth. Using light-sensitive emulsions on glass, Muth creates dichromatic holograms that archive patterns of photons and electromagnetic waves. His fluid constellations of geometric forms shift and overlap in relation to viewer perspective, creating radiant color fields that expand the sense of space and time. Rooted in geometric abstraction, the works reveal a holographic dimension within ordinary experiences of light.
