Matilda Forsberg presents a body of paintings developed during a residency in Accra, Ghana. Shifting from archival family photographs to intuitive responses to her surroundings, the works draw from spontaneous images of daily life and human exchange. Working at a smaller scale, Forsberg adopts a rapid, gestural process that emphasizes immediacy and lived experience, addressing migration, belonging, and care through present tense figuration.
