MATRIX 287 / Berenice Olmedo: To ti ên einai is the artist’s first U.S. museum exhibition, presenting sculptural works that merge prosthetics, orthotics, and medical materials into striking anthropomorphic forms. These pieces challenge fixed ideas of the body, proposing fluidity in movement and existence. Drawing on Aristotle’s concept of identity over time, Olmedo’s creations reflect on the fragility, strength, and evolving nature of being.
