Maya Perry’s The Moon Takes Shape of an Outsider’s Light at RAINRAIN moves through fractured memory, metamorphosis, and attachment across animation, drawing, sound, and installation. Beds, hybrid creatures, and looping soundscapes create a space of disrupted intimacy and unsettled care, where human and nonhuman life collapse into one another. The work pulses with quiet urgency, holding tenderness and estrangement in continual transformation.
