NARS Foundation is pleased to present Missed Calls, a solo exhibition by NARS alumni Amber Helene Müller St. Thomas.
Missed Calls explores themes of fluidity, exchange, and movement through a series of cyanotypes inspired by water. These works were printed on cotton and sewn into various textile and sculptural pieces. They were influenced by the NARS building’s proximity to the surrounding waterfront, its roots in maritime trade history, and its location in an industrially significant part of Brooklyn. The images reference historical and contemporary connections to trade and fluctuation.
