Mother Photography presents seven studio based works by Sophia Chai that initially read as minimalist paintings but reveal themselves as photographs of constructed geometric forms. Created with masking tape, graphite, paint, and an analog view camera, the works examine light, spatial perception, and recurring line motifs informed by Hangul.
