This presentation brings together landscape works by historical and contemporary Chinese ink painters. Rooted in traditions of mountain worship, the works use landforms, water, and atmosphere to express Daoist philosophy and spiritual relationships to nature. Through symbolic correspondences between landscape and the body, the paintings invite contemplative engagement with place and perception.
