Harper’s presents music made me do it, Copenhagen-based artist Jack Kabangu’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, featuring new mixed-media works. Inspired by Black historical figures and rooted in Kabangu’s Zambian upbringing and love of music, his energetic paintings channel rhythmic brushwork, vivid color, and expressive forms. Each canvas becomes a stage for personal and cultural reflection, where history, identity, and emotion collide through movement and memory.
