The Painting Center presents My Present Heritage, a solo exhibition by Fukuko Harris in the Project Room, running March 4–29, 2025. Influenced by Japanese folktales and the global impact of anime, Harris creates dynamic three-dimensional multimedia sculptures that bring childhood memories to life. Inspired by The Tale of Princess Kaguya, she integrates long-held imagery into abstract, playful forms, transforming cultural narratives into vivid, spatial drawings that reflect her personal and artistic journey.
