Aaron King’s exhibition at Post Times transforms everyday objects into sculptures that process personal trauma and memory. Using ice trays, lawnmowers, and recliners, King reconstructs familiar forms into enclosed mechanical systems that embody complex emotions. Each piece, from a perpetually frozen ice cube to a self-contained grass-cutting machine, explores the tension between memory and transformation. Through these works, King reclaims his past, finding both confrontation and catharsis in their reconfiguration.
