Obsession by Emily Janowick opens on Saturday, September 6th. In her debut solo exhibition with Kate Werble, Janowick installs a sculpture that transforms the gallery through stalks of growing corn. Using corn as her primary medium, Janowick invokes her ancestral past with Appalachia and the American South and creates a metaphor that extends beyond agriculture and American history.
