Of Two Minds presents new functional-sculptural work by Ryan Belli, organized around a single phrase: "I remember it differently." Rendered in disparate mediums and across diverse functions (wood, metal, and textiles; seating, surfaces, cabinetry, and lighting), the artist’s formal choices allow shapes to take on new meaning. The works hold dual, often contradictory truths. Hard materials appear soft; ribbon becomes structural; polished aluminum catches two perspectives at once. Throughout the exhibition, Belli draws out the nuances of collective versus individual memory and the cognitive dissonances woven into any given day.
