Alyssa Alexander presents Sonic Womb: Leaving Gender on the Dance Floor, a two-part exhibition at PES FUTURES. Through site-specific installations by Billy and Jesús Hilario-Reyes, the show evokes the mythic Drexciya and 1970s NYC clubs as immersive refuges. The second installation draws on mangroves and “edge worlds” to explore collective embodiment, ecstatic states, and the porous boundaries between self and environment.
