Ordinal Reject draws on Gene Wolfe’s The Book of the New Sun to set a tone of mystery and foreboding. Nineteen wall sculptures echo the gallery’s architecture with handmade forms of chain, void, and lure crafted from scraps. At the center, eight hybrid figures reference idols, regalia, and mythic statuary, questioning devotion and knowledge through enigmatic forms marked by the artist’s hand.
