Oscar Oiwa’s *The Supplemental Sublime* brings together thirty years of paintings about food, from canvases dating to 1996 to new large-scale oils. Donut displays, rows of hanging meat, repeated meal trays and candy fields stretching to the horizon seduce, then turn to worries about excess, addiction and the planet’s cost. Shaped by his life across Brazil, Japan and New York, the work treats food as autobiography.
