Panjereh, Sheida Soleimani’s first New York solo exhibition, brings together over 40 photographs that explore political exile, memory, and care. Drawing from her parents’ history as Iranian pro-democracy activists and her work as a wildlife rehabilitator, Soleimani constructs surreal images using birds, archival materials, and symbolic props. Her Ghostwriter and Flyways series reflect on displacement, resistance, and intergenerational care through intricate visual narratives.
