Permission to Narrate presents Hồng-Ân Trương works that examines time, memory, and narrative through archival materials. Centered on a scrapbook gifted in 1972 to Angela Davis by the Vietnamese Committee for Solidarity with the American People, the exhibition considers transnational solidarity and how histories are viewed, circulated, and remembered. Mirrored prints, photographs, and film create shifting reflections that position past and present in relation to one another, emphasizing the instability of historical meaning and the personal dimensions of political connection.
