Collected online as "transitional fossils," the disembodied spheres resurface as uncanny still life: weighted objects that once converted gesture into abstraction and the hand into signal. Through collecting, enlarging, and quilting bitmap cursor forms into physical objects, the work invites a return to touch — to feel something that no longer serves a function.
